You know, the riddle goes, "which came first: the chicken or the egg?"
It doesn't say "the chicken or the chicken egg," and therefore, it could be any egg..
I mean, this is a philosophical question, so we would be fools to simply infer that the egg in question is that of a chicken;
Dinosaurs laid eggs before chickens existed, which means that eggs, indubitably, came before chickens! Applaud me later.
