Poem Five

Medium

It's been a while now
And I've been okay
But I wanted to let you know
I'm still mad at you
I'm still hurt
But I still love you.

I always said it was selfish,
Even before it was you
And I haven't gone back on my word
I haven't changed how i feel
But I still love you.

And I think about you every day
And I ask myself how
And I ask myself why
And I ask myself if–
But the fact remains,
You're gone.
But I still love you.
And I miss you.
